Location – Himebaugh Gulch is a 275-acre tract of open space land.  It lies on the south side of town and provides public access between the town and the adjacent Arapaho National Forest.  Access to the property is available from County Road 55 east of town, through a parcel of county land that can be recognized by a large mound of dirt and rocks.

Amenities – Himebaugh Gulch is open to the public for non-motorized recreation activities including, hiking, biking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, and enjoying nature.  Dogs must be kept on a leash, and the following things and activities are prohibited: camping, hunting, campfires, fireworks, shooting firearms, use of motorized vehicles.
